Grandma Knight brought her infamous jacks with her and we had a jacks tournament while everyone was healing from the flu. Grandma whooped us all.

Coloring eggs was quite the experience this year for Brandon (Candys and Brandon flew up to visit us for the weekend---it was great seeing them again).
I wonder if Brandon's hands will ever be a normal color again.
Porter got the egg with the special prize note and won a rather large stuffed bunny. The other boys skipped over those eggs because when they shook them, they thought they were empty.

We had a wonderful easter weekend. These pictures were from the city easter egg hunt at city park. As you can see, all ages enjoyed the teeter-totter.

Candys sent us this picture of her and Brandon. Brandon wasn't too happy, as you can tell.

We are very excited to have them come visit for Easter and will have many pictures to post after they leave.

More of Austins fishing trip. He did not catch all three that he is holding on the left but did catch the one on the right. He really had a great experience and learned a lot as it was his first time fly fishing. Now we have an excuse for the Crumps to come visit---Jeff, the avid fly fisherman can find great success up here in our rivers.

Austin made his own fly fishing pole in scouts. He got to try it out on a fishing trip last saturday. It was very successful. This is one of the steelhead he caught.

It was Pinewood Derby time again. They both had pretty quick cars. Conner won a certificate for sportiest car and Porter got one for the Most Aerodynamic car. It was Conner's first and Porter's last. Only 2 more to go.

Austin's final project in his woodshop class was a gun cabinet for Uncle Mike and the boys. He did a fantastic job. He made notches for the barrel and notches on the bottom shelf for the butts. Then there is a storage area for the bullets, etc. It stands about 5 feet tall and about 2 feet wide and deep. The Smiths were very grateful and are giving their 3 boys a hard time as they never made anything like that in woodshop.
