We went exploring on Memorial day and found this river. Had a great

time trailblazing our way down to it.

Brandon got me a sheep for my birthday. When they were up visiting, he asked me to go see the "baaaaaaaaaaa"--I laughed everytime he asked it was so cute. So we had to say good morning and good night to the sheep--they were actually goats because I didn't know where we could find sheep, so I have probably warped him for good. Anyway, it the cutest sheep--it says I love you when you press her paw. SHe has little furry flip flops and pink bows on her ears.

I am going to show her off at work. Thanks Brandon.

Roasting hot dogs and s'mores for lunch.

We had an early Easter to celebrate with Brandon. He loved finding the eggs--he opened each one to see what was in it and then put the candy back.

We went for a hike along the river. It was a bit cold but fun. Brandon didn't like walking in the snow so he got a shoulder ride from whomever would carry him.

Spring break brought Candys, Brandon and Wesley to Baker. Since the outside weather wasn't always great, we went to the church and played wiffle ball to help pass the time and get away from the WII video games.

Last weekend we went to check out Phillips lake, about 20 minutes up the mountain. We found it to be completely frozen still--in fact we saw many crazy people ice fishing. The boys enjoyed shoving the blocks of ice back into the hole and watching it bob up and down. In some places the ice was more than 4 feet deep--we used the boys walking sticks to poke down a hole and couldn't reach the end of the ice. It was a cool experience. Conner & Porter ran all the way to the other side. It started moaning and groaning which was a little scary. It was the ice settling after they let water out of the dam.
In the bottom picture, the dark spots are all people ice fishing. Kind of crazy if you ask me--not my idea of fun.
